How to Find Your Phone’s IMEI
You might have heard about IMEI, but do not know what it is. IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity. It is an international “serial number” of your phone to properly identify it. This tutorial is only for Android phones.
We can find our phone’s IMEI by doing the following methods:
- At the battery compartment.
- By dialing *#06#. It displays 15-digit number.
For Android users:
- Go to Settings>About Phone>Status and look for IMEI.
For iPhone users:
- Go to Settings>General>About and look for IMEI.
- Your IMEI also can be seen on the back of your phone.
For Windows Phone users:
- Your IMEI can be found on the sim cardholder of your phone.
- Go to Settings>About>More Info and look for IMEI.
